• it's hard to make anything *valuable* in 32b, using less than 32b is kinda pointless. 1kb is something rather dominated by win32 intros, so make something inbetween next time. like 256b. it doesn't have to be revolutionary, it doesn't have to be 'wow, i never seen something like that'. if 256b is too much, try 128b - that's kinda nice category to make things everyone saw already, but never in so tiny prod. take a look at vyhen from Rrrola - that's a perfect example of what can be done in 128b. take a one or two well known effects, join them and code something at least partially spectacular. and take your time. demoscene is not a race - it's about quality, not quantity. we'll be here in a month. or two. trust me.

• Pirx: yes, all of them. funny, huh? maybe it's because of drivers, dunno. i have geforce 4 mx with xp (!) drivers, installed in compatibility mode, and everything works. direct3d works, opengl works, even all this 13h stuff works. weird.
  
  STARDREAMERS: it's windows 7. didn't worked. after winkey-L (lock), and typing password without anything on screen, it finally showed my desktop, and i was able to kill it.
