- 64k Windows Dead Ringer by Fairlight [web]
- Kewl. It's stylish on some aspects but I don't get fully into it despite an obvious amount of work.
The dancing guy is very cool, but the overall intro lacks this usual cool that made the best stylish thingies like Breakpoint 06 FLT intro.
The colors are a bit dark without much brightness and the music sounds itself like a kind of cheesy funk. It fits the whole atmosphere but it's "demo funk" again.
Overall, rules ;) - rulezadded on the 2006-08-06 15:46:41
- demo Windows Bacardi Cola by MoonHazard [web]
- shitty music, shitty coca cola logo, shitty art direction.
It looks like you mixed the worst taste with the good.
As said by Dipswitch, a smooth and beautiful tune without all these shit coming over the -real- demo would have transformed this into a very nice production.
Sorry, you really stuffed it. - isokadded on the 2006-08-06 11:18:39

The music itself is cool. eh, it's 64k after all :) - rulezadded on the 2006-08-06 01:17:49
- musicdisk Windows Awakening: Part2 by ALLien Senses [web]
- that's pleasant to have a prod like this coming just like for the purpose of being released to the scene.
The work of tunes is great and the ambiance is overally smooth.
However, my opinion, the tunes sound just a bit like "oh, this new classical instruments soundbank VSTi is very cool and I will use it all the way".
It often sounds artificial and the themes are sometimes usual and common IMO. But I appreciate the whole work. Good job.

- After another watching, I am convinced the synth player is just very funny to watch when he tries to convince himself he is a 1337 player.
Obviously, he's not and it's even more difficult with gloves.
Ok, we may be stupid enough to think he is able to produce all this shit with his cheesy-analog-back-from-the-past-but-so-buzzed synth but we can't fail to see he is eventually doing anything but music with it. He is not even able to follow the melody !! (ach so, bassline oder lead ???)
Haha.
Apart that, I don't know why I felt this music was better at the party when I was actually trying to sleep.
All in all, I am not into it. - isokadded on the 2006-05-15 22:47:36

- Is the real demoscene somewhere in Norway?
The prods at the Gathering are just tremendous and it has been proved again this year.
This one has all the requested feeling to be a great demo. Too bad my graphic card is a bit old for that. - rulezadded on the 2006-05-05 23:17:50
- demo Windows deities by mfx [web]
- I must say I am very surprised by the comments on the music...It's a great psy-tune which fits in a particular way to the demo. I really enjoyed it during the party (and the gated voice has something really deep and fascinating).
But eh, I won't fight. Just a matter of taste :)
