  You might call the sound synth "EinKlang" - this is an actual German word for harmony (also between different things), and also tones in octave distance. And it contains "ein K" == "1 K". ;)
  
  But I'm wondering a bit about the missing perspective calculations. ;)

  Did you get no sound at all? I experienced that with "Fly Virus". DOSBox seems to mute COVOX sound if the CPU cycles are too high (or high from the beginning). The full version of "Just for FUNction" (work in progress) had for example sound with a "100000 cycles" setting, but no sound with significantly higher values.

• A classic for me. I also attended that party and was very impressed by this intro on the big screen - with the only chance to rewatch it by running it on real hardware - before we had Youtube. ;)

• Thanks, guys. Some coder remarks:
  
  
  • it sparked some fun in the twich chat, which was fun to watch
    
  • a Mandelbrot fractal isn't cool anymore, so I added some animation to an existing texture generator, and mirrored the right half of the fractal
    
  • there is Covox sound, but it doesn't work that easily on DOSBox (strange low/high cycle count behaviour, there was no time to dig into it)
    
  • gfx mode is 256x200 on a 320x200 mode 13h screen (left 64 pixel columns repeated on the right, so I skipped them, was shorter than activating a true 256x200 mode)
    
  • might be too fast on real HW, will check that for the final release
    
  • 123B w/ sound and esc->mode 03h (could have been 114B or so instead, but I reused the esc/exit code as part of a float constant anyway)
