The earliest i can remember that an introish production showed its own code is Dragondrop (2014) but they clearly didnt boldly double the code for the packer xD Cool idea, great execution

After working with some compression related stuff during the last years it was easy for me to think like a LZ77 compressor with entropy coding and try to repeat code in. ;) So after adding features, speed, or design elements I had to shorten the original scroller message further and at some point got the idea to use this redundancy.
So it's also not a 100% quine, more like 95%. :)
