• The hang seems to be another bug in the original code that slipped right through my fingers (hm, the whole thing about linux' praised "stability" seems to be that it just doesn't recognize when it has to crash)... and for the "certain property", tell me what it is, as said, i've seen the original intro ONCE before :)

• I wanted to see that intro, and i was bored. Sorry.
  No guarantees that this intro looks anyhow like the original, but i think
  it qualifies as "intro" and it's quite similar to what i remember from
  seeing the original version at TP. So have fun.

• Don't worry, most monitors are able to handle my VSync manipulation routine (I switch refresh rates several times per frame, so the monitor loses vertical sync and you see that scrolling effect). And flashing is harmless. At least for your hardware.

• Yeah, vote. I'm not part of the PC demoscene roots, and in fact, they're somewhat worse than the other systems, but this was a sign of hope :)

• Definitely, yes. The only good attempt in scene poetry i've seen. The multi-language thingie is great, and overall, it's plain beautiful. Download this.

• The scenes show some trails of well-thought artwork, and the engine is, uh, solid. The music is ok, and overall, it's a boring 3d flyby. But with good lighting. Or something. I'll call it "is ok" :)
