- demo Windows Hibernate by Pyrotech
- Many individual components look good, but not so much together (gears + tunnel). The dancing guy (yeah, this guy danced in the Ekspert demo) is what adds to the dynamic and elevates the whole thing.
Other than that, okish demonstration of what unreal (or is it unity?) shaders can do. Not sure what to make of it, not the best pyrotech but not bad either. - isokadded on the 2019-08-06 00:49:35

- Seriously, I love Adapt.
But this is not their best. They commit the cardinal sin: the viewer cannot establish scale and relative movement of objects in the scene, as if they render from different cameras and just blend together. So what we see is confusing - is this supposed to be big, small, 2D blended, truly 3D, and is it the texture of the object moving or the object itself ?
Also, the only progression is the (great) logo at the end. No difference between the visuals between first and last minute. - isokadded on the 2019-08-06 00:44:38

- Hi all,
Thank you for your messages. I read some very interesting interpretations of the story.
Originally this was conceived as a love story, in 3 stages - separation, death, unification, with all other objects (immobile people, animals) acting as some sort of chthonic entities (Ερινυες), idle observers of the drama and rather detached to the "suffering" (unlike in original tales where they are pulling the strings themselves! So, in some ways, the scenery so desolate that even the Furies are indifferent).
Death comes as part of separation and aging of the world, and the avatars resurface together at the end (beyond time/space of humans, as their own cities are destroyed), in a different plane of existence (colorful) and "free as birds".
And in some ways it continues from where "Monolith" left - human (not necessarily romantic) love as the pinnacle of creation. - isokadded on the 2018-08-06 13:44:33
