• the comments I am reading here are absolutely baffling - how can something that mainly is on the same technical level as 1990 (if even) be regarded as nearly being like the second coming of christ?
  so a bunch of sorry ass line effects, scrollers, twisters etc. as seen a hundred times in the last 30 years on the same platform is "amazing, superb"? seriously?
  
  it's like the latest releases by Lemon, Deadliners, TBL, etc. had never happened.

  If even democoders themselves can not assess anymore how much coding skill was involved in a production - then how should all the other people in the scene. I feel we are risking to kill the programming aspect from the original idea of what demoscene meant. As a consequence demoscene will become indistinguishable from all the other realtime graphics web communities out there, which mainly focus on design and artistic concepts.

  But on the technical side I fail to see how this is an impressive demo. Not my number one from the compo.
