• What linux distro is this? I've only tested it on ubuntu 32 and 64 bit.
  It seems like it's png that's crashing. is it possible to find out which png it tries to load, or would you need an executable compiled with -g for that?

• j-ar , the win32 compiled version in the zip which now also contains mac-port should be updated. It contains a small fix to a bug which caused the overlays to be piped into the glow, and also a fix to a bug which caused the rain in the rain-scene to read from the scene-texture but also draw itself to the rain-texture. in effect, drawing and reading from the same texture. (very undefined) :)

• Yeah, the sound stuttering happened on my laptop-linux as well. Don't know what it is. It was even worse when it streamed from disk, so I made the linux version load the song into ram.
