although i suppose there aren't many people using telnet these days but just for the retro feeling of it found some bbs on this and this site, my question is this: are there any demoscene devoted bbses out there, if yes would it be possible to list them here?

I can recommend haciend.bbs.fi (PC) and antidote.hopto.org (C64), both on port 23. Activity on Haciend is kind of low but there are several linked message networks (think Fidonet but without the rigid real name policy) with demoscene related discussions.
