I found this CV browsing the MattCurrent.org temp directory:
Matt Current was born in 1972, into a welsh coalminer family in Markham.
His father worked in the local colliery, his mother was working in a local hairdresser saloon.
In 1986, Margaret Thatcher's government closed the Markham Colliery. His father unemployed, they've lost the source of their main income, so they moved to London to seek for a better living.
The Currents moved to London, where they had a hard time seeking work. For half a year, his parents were unemployed, but finally his father could take a position in the vinylfactory, and her mother could do part-time jobs in a grocery store.
Their conditions were still harsh, but at least their financial problems were partially solved.
In 1992, when Matt finished his studies at St. Marylebone C.E. School.
However, Matt, could not continue his studies, and had to take a part-time job at a VCR shop in Camberwell, to aid his family.
Later that year, his father died, due to a sever illnes connected to the Markham colliery disaster in 1983, where he was severely injured.
The family lost a father, but the compensation from the government was high enough to give them a financial boost, so Matt could quit his job and go to university.
In 1993, he gained entry to the Kingston University, where he studied Computer Graphics.
Through a student exchange program, in 1995 he went to Finland to study at the Helsinki Politechnic (Stadia). He stayed their, and finished his studies in 1997, specialised on Virtual Product Design / 3D Graphics. He resides in Finland ever since.
