maybe we should start a rating system for juvenile protection of prods and discussion threads. it could be implemented into lists.php even ;) anyone wanting to be a pouetnannyworksafecop?

categorizing things through diferent levels maybe, references to naked chicks, references to naked boys, references to explicit sex and violence, sex and violence foul language, beastiality, erotic. someone needs to age rate all of this!!! and take into account that diferent countries have diferent moral standards, so we could cross check the information to make sure every kid in india never gets to read about killing of cows!!!

we must take care of this problem right away! its important for our children not to be exposed to such unsupervised behaviour. alright, whos with me? cammon guys, together we can make pouet a worksafe environment!!

I dunno what to think about that thread, ps. In fact, that would avoid maybe one or two children in the world not to watch at something he should not. There is something like 1% of chance that any man under the age of 14 is watching at pouet oftenly, to fall on a pr0n intro or whatever similar. And even if he does, that would be surely something less risky for him and his brain than all the pr0n you can watch only by searching for "music" on Google.com, actually. In my opinion, that would be useless to make something like that. But now, my opinion doesnt count for all, maybe other points of view are more reliable when it comes to that shit, i dunno, that's my two cents.

what about cookie? i mean... let's take every singhe php lying on here, add a cookie test ust before everything, if the cookie exist, go on and nevermind. if it doesn't, show a preliminar disclaimer saying the usual "this site may contains macabre, sexual devoted, satanic, piggish and other form on dreadful content not suitable for children, trolls, depressed and irritable people. click here to die, click here to demo". of course the cookie could be set to expire after, uhm, let's say one week. ah, isn't this a good idea? i mean, isn't it unconceivable? (and no, i'm pretty serious, really)

Ok, follow that censor link. instead of thinking about censor I'd like if you think about how to display releases with roman numerals in a correct order (when arranged by release names). If that's not enough,there are still prod #1, prod #2, ..., prod #10 left.

Maybe, we should consider having the demo looked at before having it uploaded as a prod. Would it be an option to simply "deny" a prod because it is too vulgar or obscene?
Furthermore, would it be an issue to actually look at "every single" prod that came through for review?

My thoughts: I think having prods with that kind of explicitness is a little too far and unnecessary for the scene. I dont think we are about that. However, if you just want to let things go. Thats cool, it isnt my site, but I think there should be some heads-up for the younger people that browse here looking for demos.

No, it's not an option. We cannot build up a (nearly) complete archive when there are prod denied. Seriously, have you guys recently looked at the spam messages in your mailbox? These screenshots are nothing compared to some pics in spam mails.

This thread is totally useless since you are not supposed to work demos at work anyway. :) You wouldn't ever do that, would you? :D

however a worksafe watching mode or something would definately be a great feature, for all the occasions when you don't want pictures of dogs fucking chicks appearing on your screen.

an 'offensive' flag could be set in the prod, disabling the screenshot and changing "no screenshot yet" with "censored. grow up first.". cookie for enabling/disabling, so you can change it when you want ( i suppose you fear those pictures popping up while giving a fast look at pouet in a public place? ).

how about doing a "how people uses pouet" poll instead?
