great party! thanks everyone!
+1 to more food options and +1 to moving some of the compos to friday, maybe the mate light and the wild compo since they probably take a bit longer to setup then the other stuff, would probably free some heavy orga time on saturday, just a suggestion, would still attend the party regardless :)

We will of course continue to improve our timetable experience, but just FYI - MateLight coincided with Zeigerkollektiv's setup and soundcheck and was organized by c-base people, which already took a lot of time pressure from our hands.
Mega thanks again to all of the organisers of this amazing party! I threw together some video clips of my trip, in my usual slapdash fashion.
I would also like to apologise unreservedly for briefly (I hope...!) blocking the screen by standing up from my seat during one of the graphics compos; I was greeting a pal who I wasn't expecting to see at the party, but I shouldn't have done it like that, so sorry to the organisers and to anyone I might have annoyed.
Really, really amazing depth of releases this year - the party seems to have grown a lot over the years!

entschuldigung, aber deadline war sehr schön!
thanks again to everyone involved for a somewhat well organised event.
on the points that have been raised: i'd say that compo delays are a staple at parties.
and while i did make a tongue in cheek comment about wanting a currywurst stand before the party, i've got to agree with darya, you can get all sorts of food delivered right to the street outside the venue. just avoid ordering recipe kits, unless you fancy heating them up at the bonfire.
also, there's a supermarket down the road that's usually good for topping up on some decent stuff as well, if deadline doesn't fall on a public holiday of course. but i think that one's a lesser known option, so here's my take on promoting that one a bit :)

darya: As you know no eggs in that basket, and surely not generalizing from my position on the spectrum, but -
To me having to order in a remote city using a food app would give multiple attacks on anxiety disorder. Some person I do not know will be searching for me! He might be unhappy because he did not find me! I have to talk to him!
In these kind of situations in all seriousness I typically would rather go multiple days without food, and that actually still happens to me often.
At recent Deadlines and Evokes I had therefore asked the infodesk to please do it for me.
Compared to this, the system of "Pizza waves" where you register for at a infodesk is a dream.
Most probably are not extreme on this as me, but I think "less sceners will go hungry if a central instance is managing the food acquisition process" may indeed apply in a generalized fashion.

I'd happily pay a bit of a premium for a generic chocolate bar or a bag of potato chips from the infodesk knowing that a part of that money goes into funding the event i'm enjoying.
Of course there is always the risk that party organizers miscalculate and end up having a ton of extra chocolate bars in their possession after a party, but hey... there's always the prizegiving ceremony ;-)

What dalezy said, esp. the final sentence.
while it usually would be the other way around, here i agree with scamp (and uncle-x, but that's nothing unusual) and disagree with dalezy. =) i really don't like ordering anything through my phone, and i don't like to support predatory platform economy either. i'd rather spend my money at some local falafel food truck that surely would make an excellent turnover by parking at the location for a weekend.
but hey, enough of the food! in fact, it speaks pretty much in favour of the party that this seems to be the only somehow-major issue that is raised in this thread. =)

Thanks everyone for this massive party. It was a lot of fun, even though going through 3 hours of music in a 4 hour time slot for compo preparation was a bit stressful. :) Thanks for the absolutely massive amount of releases!
