All my old websites went down when my host went under suddenly
Not that any of those sites are active anymore, just a note for the archivists out there
I have backups and a new server. Eventually I'll get things back up so old links still work

It's been a while - does anyone have a contact vector for micksam7? It would be a shame if all those high-quality captures would be lost forever.
his twitter seems innactive for years, might be worth trying to send a dm, maybe he has email notifications on for those. his github also seems innactive for years, and no email listed.
he could have mailserver configured on micksam7.com domain that seems to still be up. me at micksam7 com is listed on previous pouet threads as a contact email. i would try that.

I've redirected demoscene.us / capped.tv to archive.org copies for the moment. [for demoscene.us - you have to close the archive.org top bar to see the nav links]
I've put back up the old ftp at https://ftp.micksam7.com/
I put up all the old capped.tv video files on https://ftp.micksam7.com/capped/cdn-archive/
- vhq is the directory you want for video
- nfo are old auto-generated text files that include links and uploader details
- pre is the preview videos that would play on the video index [still proud of that one]
- hq has a few captures I did for direct linking iirc
I don't think any of those video files are of use anymore considering they are all low res. But scamp and others have asked so here you go!

micksam7, nice to see you back after a long period of silence! capped.tv was one of the best community driven projects on the video/demo captures aspect of the demoscene and very ambitious for its time! Really loved it! It is really good to see the captures back in your ftp! When real life kicks in sometimes we may have to take some time off from our favorite stuff (this was true for me as well). Again, really nice to see you around, take care! :)
