As the title says. I need to track down a HQ/dry version.
Note: if you know what '90s video game I sampled this from, that's awesome, but I'm after the original. :)

I figured it would be one of the "common" breaks but the only one that sounds close is the first bar of Synthetic Substitute by Melvin Bliss. I dunno though, sounds like there is more cymbals added or perhaps it's a different loop completely.
Could be Kool and the Gang - Let The Music Take Your Mind, at least it's similar.
Doesn't ring a bell here. Sounds like there are layers used(rides sound familiar).

That exactly same breakbeat can be heard more clearly on "Some More Crime - Another Domestic Drama In A Suburban Hell - 18 - Society Is A Difficult Film". More clearly because i believe in jmph's version, there is another Breakbeat or Shaker loop layered on top of it.

Kool and the Gang misses the distinct ride of this loop, that is really close to the amen ride.

Thanks tons for the research guys! The Some More Crime track (great tune BTW!) is absolutely the same break, but it's not all there is going in my sample. It's either layered with another break(s) or some one-shot drums with a lot of processing.
