I want to see scary demos or demos with scary stories or demos with scary sounds.

For example, even if the demo is not scary, it has the scary sound at the beginning. The Machines of Madness demo by Dubius. I was wearing my headphones and decided to watch some dos demos after a long. I forgot how this one started, and it was a sound like "Vvvzziiiiiiuuunnn, sbsammm,. iiiiiixxxx", anyways =), with the dubius leters coming fast and synced,. I was scared because that was a surprise! Others like these?

Which was the one where it has some weird music (a demo by Orange, the one that needs Gus, perhaps one of the Robot series), and suddenly you hear "Aaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!" (I had my headphones at full again!!!) while you see a Bruce Lee. Then, it goes slow again, then again "Aaaahhh!!!" and another bruce lee or karateka, and then again "AAaaaaahahhahh!!!" in the very end and you see Merilyn Monroe =)))
That made the shit go out of my nose as some friend says in Greece, but made me laugh at the end. Preety fuck!

Except from just sounds, I found preety scary with atmosphere, Moments, it's TEH SHIT!!!

And then perhaps some weird very insanely minimalistic abstrakt demos, after seing the movie "The Ring". I think, Byzantine, scared me once in a late night, so much that I decided to press Esc and watch it tomorrow.

I think that demos that you see for the first time ever might make you afraid or scare you, because you don't know what to expect. I don't know whether a demo could throw a scary image or so (have you seen the Flash files, where they put you to read something, and suddenly pageflip a rotten pic? I'd only be scared if there was a computer virus sneaking into your system and doing this at any time while you are working at the desktop :P. I am lately have a kind of fear while working on my computer..)

What else? I've finally seen the demo Hell by Tran. Just because of the matter. I have very negative fears for the satanic stuff, because they are symbols put in my mind so negativelly, from church or so. Satan was a very scary subject for me, like the badest thing ever (for example, the word I wrote, brings me a very diferrent feeling while seeing it, just a word a fucking word but it does the scarefull atmosphere!), but it's just symbol put inside our minds when we were small. But it was teh shit..

This thread is serious. Don't take me non serious. I want to tell me more scary demos or with scary sounds or theme. No matter if they won't be as scary as I think. I want to see some scary demos these days. I am addicted to scare :)

The first time I watched Super Television by Orange I was in a completely dark room and had really loud sound. When the Bruce Lee image with the scream appeared I almost got a heart attack. :)
Even today I find the demo quite scary.

scary prods for me can be :
raw confessions because it's like a child-killer wich try to kill and rape a little girl, lots of blood and hard sound, can be true or a chil's dream
the imaginary demo because it's a strange concept
hardwired because the start, sound and insect
i do not remember other for the moment

At least the music is somewhat scary, but I did not find the overall intro very scary.

And then there is "Fear of Redemption" by Neuro/Concept! Even though it is first of all very funny, some scenes are also very scary. Definitely a must see.

There was a demo about lobsters, from some french guys I think. A comment mentioned an urban myth (about a lobster and a woman...) which was quite disgusting.
The demo wasn't created with that story in mind, but I wouldn't want to see it again. Does that count as scary?

yeah 'super television' is the most scary demo :)

dunno but i watched it with no lights on and with headphones the first time i saw it. . but yeah.. raw confessions is quite good.

dairy: yes, that was possibly the best "fuck you" ever. I remebmer sitting with nothing but my boxershorts (it was hot in my room, august 1996) and headphones on... and then *that* happened.

Lol! Television was the one I was talking about (not a robot series, mistake)!!! I see that a lot of people had the same scary experience with me by watching this demo =)

Hardwired: Yes, exactly! I forgot that. The beginning with the cockroach and the scared man, sound, etc. scared me too at the first time I had seen it with my headphones and closed lights (I didn't expected that, it was the first time to watch famous Amiga demos through WinUAE). This belongs exactly to the category of sound, atmoshperic good synced with the visual, like the Machines of Madness start. But more with a story..

Alter ego: I'd like to watch that. I tried once at a net cafe but the PC rebooted. I don't have a 3d card here..

Halla: That's also one of my favoritest. Too scary atmosphere, with that black figure in the bathroom or so..

Jackson Five: One I almost remembered and wanted to mention here but forgot the title. I am not sure if the remix or the original is more scary, I think I liked the original. Gotta see it again..

According to the comments, I think the scary demo is Super Television and not Television. (Uhm,. so many Orange prods I watched lately that I forgot ;)

OMG... i have this weird vision of Optimus calling me "WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE SCARY DEMO?" and then enters my house [through the backdoor, where you least suspect it, obviously] to bore me to death with his lifestory!

I thought that Ultimatum to Poland had quite a scary atmosphere...

I guess it reminds me of my childhood nightmares - and I don't like the subliminal mannequin pic at all!

Other than that I'd say Moments by Insomnia or perhaps even Kasparov under the right conditions.
