if you arrived there not, chances are you tried hard not enough, or you grasp the concepts not yet which necessary are for it to use.

if you want to play that .xm, use some audio library. fmod or bass should do.
but if you want to read that file for some unknown reason, you should check xm specs first. try fasttracker documents or search www.wotsit.org and use fopen & fread or something

With FMOD there is just a DLL which disturbs me but check I am going to try all the same ....

fiat homo / traction has available sourcecode where minifmod is used successfully.. not that hard to figure out.. just look into sound.cpp and add the xm on visual studio's resources for accessibility when compiling/linking..

you can't program C++ cuz as i know it is just for programming something. So if you tryna program something that's for programming you'll en up with a visious circle. So this means are you God? Or worst! Are you Chuck Norris?
