category: general [glöplog]

haha I couldnt actually care less about this crap. whats it gonna be? a orgie in selfvoting, the group with most members get the most votes (cough cough irokos group)
maybe thats why irokos has been spamming this shit so much. :X

Axel, yeah, it is supposed to be knödel. By the way, what is that?
i gave my "giant plate infront of head"-vote to dubmood this year. seems your are winning in that catagory this year.
pot, meet kettle
Kelsey: it's a German speciality. A dessert, made of mashed potatoes, flour, prunes, sugar and butter mostly. I can confirm it's very very tasty. :)

No, the Worldcharts are not set up to celebrate ourselfs - that's bullshit dubmood!
Hi fans,
why don't we code a Votedisk for this 'hard' problem?
So all of us can do the Voting-Process offline, without to be online for 30Minutes, to see, that nothing would save your Process when something goes wrong :-(
And with the Votedisk we can simply vote offline, while listen to cool music, see some stylish animations in the background and at the end, the program simply sends your Voting.txt 2KByte File online to the Staff.
Examples/Explanations needed? Just look @ this:
< The Party'94 Votedisk by Nuts [http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=19191]
< Stravaganza Votecounter by Stravaganza [http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=17010]
< Vote! by Amable [http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=18161]

But, why the hack, you need to register to vote? hmm.. could you explain it to me?

When is Worldcharts going to be released? What's my place in the chart?

Don't tell the C64 and Amiga zealots. They might rant at you for such 21st century talk.
i don't see any reasonable reason for the statement that charts are not needed anymore. it's always good to stir the competition a bit. and in fact more people care about them then they admit. i know at least one person who doesnt read diskmags out of principle but still asks me every time pain comes out how he placed in a certain category. =)
also nothing wrong with using an old name to bring a nice chartmag back, as long as the legacy is there, and in this case it is there afaik. the only thing that bothers me is that the online voting system is carried out really unusable, and that's why i'm not investing my time into this project (unlike i did with the 2 previous world charts issues) until the voting system gets decent and i can actually recommend people to use it without having a bad conscience.
but let me speak my mind about dubmood, although it is a bit offtopic but it's a thing that bothers me for quite a while.
dubmood, i used to have respect for you, but your recent acting is just retarded. i suppose you forget where you came from? remember, a few years ago? where you got exactly the same dirt thrown at as you throw on irokos & crew?
the ONLY difference between irokos and you is: you got fat on razor1911 fame, while irokos built up an own project, which, while some of the methods and actions are questionable, all in all showed itself to be quite impressive. and okay, you did quite decent chiptunes, but so what?
i think people who have followed the scene for more than 1-2 years and especially the discussions on pouet, get what i mean. dubmood, your standpoint is absolutely ridiculous considering your position as a scener. you act like some kind of elder statesman, probably powered by your "elite" razor1911 avatar, who comes back and clashes "newbies" into dirt. dude, wake up and remember yourself a few years ago.
this is not a flame towards razor1911 where i used to have good friends. and it's not about defending titan, there are many things about titan which call for criticism. it's only about du(m)bmood who obviously need to look in a fucking mirror. and then visit a certain shoppe.

so when are the charts going to be ready ^_^
yo dip calm down
btw the narcissm of a few sceners (who dont read pain but masturbate over their position in the charts) isnt really a reason for keeping charts alive...
in fact its more a reason to ignore them

A reason? You're posting on one. It's called the internet.
Shifter:We will not rant as we can't ignore the fact that the time is not standing still.
But on the other side, I desire that sometimes, that far is true. ;-)
