Jugendszenen.de is a popular German portal site about youth culture. It is hosted by a group of sociologists at the University of Dortmund, led by Prof. Ronald Hitzler. It features information on various youth scenes such as antifa, blackmetal, deathmetal, gothic, graffiti, hardcore, hiphop, punk, rpg, skateboarding,... On April 2nd, a demoscene section has been added! As this site is visited by sociologists, this might spawn more scientific research on the scene.

The site is still lacking illustrations; if you would like to contribute any suitable images such as screenshots or photos, please send them to me. The size should be 200x260 pixels. Please note that if you submit photos, the persons visible on them must agree to the submission.

placing hugi on top of the linklist is a blatant attempt of selfpromotion, adok. if you admit it, people wont go apeshit about it.

I never heard about "jugendszenen.de" before. Google pagerank of it is 0, nobody links to it, the content is crappy, and the main question to be asked is "who the fuck CARES?".

So, no, it's not a "popular German portal site", it's some irrelvant website Adok pushes to praise himself once more.

Of course placing Hugi at the top of the link-list is self-promotion. However, Hugi itself promotes quite a lot of PC demo sceners and groups, so I think it's justified.
