German?

category: general [glöplog]
shifter, that was not because it was illegal, just because the game would most likely have been 18+ otherwise ;)

Or he reads slashdot, which is where I learned about that quote :-)

Really funny. There seems to be tolerance for Nazi symbols in this thread, but my comment that Wolfenstein 3D is forbidden in Germany gets censored and deleted. So much for free speech on Pouet. Select the darker side for yourself.

funny enough that some germans still refer to wolfenstein as hundefelsen, because of political correct indymedia-compatible content.

midfit, censorship at pouet? can't be, the admins are too lazy to do that. =)

uhm midfit, the whole PRODUCT got deleted. and NOT because of any political reasons, but because it's inappropriate to add vesion update as new release.

ryg: It was the ridiculous all the same. If I turn on the handbrake and swerve into a crowd of people, my car had better get painted red ;)

I thought the ruling about the confiscation of Wolf3D is obsolete by now.

Gargaj: German wikipedia says the same.
I somehow fail to see the glorification of Nazi ideology in a game where the actor has to wipe out the Nazi regime. The swastikas are pure decoration to resemble the "original" better just like there's a crosses Jesus in every church.
shifter, ofcourse it's ridiculous :)
