Nintendo DS demos ?

Are there any Nintendo DS demos yet ? I anyone developing ?
Only one I know of, is the DS version of moppi's flower demo which can be found here: http://www.moppiproductions.net/products/moppi-flowernds.zip
consult pdroms.de and read their news posts.
i know our friend mr.kabin/eldorado designs is working hard on a demo together with fiskemannen..
hope to see it released soon, seen some of the effects and it sure looks nice :)

Making demos for consoles seems to be getting increasingly popular. Is this happening because many sceners are nowadays working in the videogame industry?
no, it's because PC is tedious and boring
It was always boring after the first 50 demos of a new PC generation (DOS, software rendering, hardware rendering, ...) were released.
That's because people cannot get over shaded, rotating 3d objects. Most console demos aren't much better in this respect, they just run on different hardware. Ideas, concepts and style is where it's at nowadays.

Well, I think that for example the dual screen in DS makes all kinds of cool concepts possible. But yeah, I don't see much point in making demos for consoles if the demos feature same effects as PCs.
(then again, I really do see the "coding's fun on consoles"-part, I love MIPS asm myself)

I forgot to add: Of course technically stunning stuff is great, no matter what it's running on. But few modern demos are, regardless of the platform.

@Adok: I think one reason is because it is so easy nowadays.. Any braindead script kiddie can develop on consoles as there are complete tool-chains available for download for almost every console released in the last 10 years.. Also SDL, GL and other libs make it very easy to develop the engine/effect on a standard PCee and then port it (more or less (hand-)optimized, depending on the coder) to the console it will run on..
Some few that come to mind that DIDN'T took it so easy are for example: Test23, Kinderkram, Delicious, Variance, .. .. .. I like them simply for the fact that they pushed (at the time) mostly unknown hardware to a certain limit..
My worries are that the soon-to-come scene on PSP and DS will just resemble the PC-scene and their effects.. :(((

If you make a technicaly good demo for a pc, it will look like a regular one a few month later, because the new cpus and graphics card are out (dosen't happen with demos with good ideas...).
But a demo that gets the last cpu cycles out of a console with effects never thought to be possible on that hardware will be a top demo as long as the console lives. Console demos are much more comparable that pc demos.
You have the time to get the last bit of performance out of your hardware, on a pc, if a demo is a bit to slow, you can just wait for the next graphics card :-(

It's not really true that developing for consoles is easy. Maybe it's easy to get crap out of it, but that's not the point. It all depends on people's goals and the competence that does or does not go with those.

I've made a boring interactive 3D demo on DS (just one scene with a textured windmill, house, skybox and tree) with one minute of 22khz 8bit raw music ripped from 195/95 by Plastic. Hence I didn't add it to pouet or anything, it was fun to make though. I hope you can use palettized textures because I used 128x128 16bit textures and you only have four vram banks of 128k of which I used one as a framebuffer for the top screen.
