ok, both ryanair and germanwings prices around xmas are just rich. could go for a frankfurt am main option with finnair instead. only problem being there's no suitable return flight until 30.12. (the party ends on 29.12.) - soooo... any nice after-parties in/between karlsruhe and frankfurt? :)

cripes, that whole weekend Christmas thing just is harsh on prices... not to mention the part where crashing at someone's place is just out of the question for coming early, cuz it's Christmas.

would it not be cheaper to get BA? When I got BA in 2003, it was something like £73 from Heathrow. I'm sure you could get return to Heathrow from pretty much anywhere in Europe for under £200...
