I know the discussion might sound a bit anal, but the current situation is like categorizing all C=64 demos under C=128 as the latter is a seldomly used superset of the C=64.
When still in doubt, ask people with real amiga-knowledge, for example on #amicoders/#amigascne.

I support spin/abyss sugestion, just rename ECS to OCS, since no ECS-only prods are known at the moment.

I never used that argument because there is a much better one: real men like a challenge and thus went for PC while they left the amiga, which gave everything for free, to the boys ;-)

niels: you seem quite ignorant when it comes to amiga. the difference between ocs and aga is like the difference between a 386 and a 1ghz+ machine with a 3dcard in the pcworld. heck, to look at ocs demos on a aga amiga you need special emualtion-like programs!

There certainly insn't enough difference between OCS and ECS to warrant separate categories. How about calling it OCS/ECS and everybod will be happy?
