hey guys what about a demo-party in Essen / NRW / Germany???

essen is a dead boring place.. its big city with the feel of village :)

for the case you seriously plan one and want to place it not too near to any other party: our party 0a000h is again planned for end january/beginning february 2003 in southern germany, near stuttgart.

well i would organize one, pro and others (non-szeners) already offered their support in organizing one..

well there are 3 main problems:
1) size.... i think it would be i smaller party with about 100 ppls
2) place... there woulb be my school... i don't know any other blaces... perhaps our university, but i have no connections to them.
3) time... december or next year... but january is 0a000h and then the time for mekka comes, so between is not enough time for making demos for a small party in essen...

so sceners: suggest other places in essen (mail me if you have connections!!!), suggest dates and if you have conexions to lan-specialists, power-suppliers, owners of good locations.... MAIL ME:

well, i don't know any nice places in essen, but if you need help on network and power equipment etc., you can contact me. i know a lot about that ;)

if there aren't enough sceners then hey, make it a small party :)

if we have the time and can afford renting a car etc. we'll be probably be there, i guess.

hm... yep, i guess i'd be in. not that i decidedly prefer essen... but the distance from hamburg is bearable.

which compos would you want to offer? i could take care of the c64 compo if there shall be one :D

well as i have seen my curriculum'S for this year @ school etc.etc... i do not think that i would have the time to organize one. but if there are some other scener in NRW / Ruhrgebiet, i would support them and organize one with them!

symmek should be moved to HH, just think about some nice warehouse in the territory of port ;)

don't care about the size for your first party. 0a000h #1 had 65 sceners and still was great fun.
good luck finding a location, I'm just going mad with that.

naitandu, if you do not have the time for organizing a party this year, what about next year?

btw: i agree to styx^hcr. don't care about the size. a small party will give you a more familiar atmosphere.
