Which Lemon is it?

category: general [glöplog]

Okay, what's the proper spelling? Is it:

Lemon

Lemon.

Lemonade.

lemonade.

...etc.? I'm trying to title "Groovy" for MC2 and I'd like the straight dope on what the hell the name of the group is/was/should be.

Quoting Tomcat's book (page 147):
Quote:
"It started with a joke, as a lot of things started with jokes so did our group. About half a year ago Dan, Nuke and It had a joke idea to use a logo by Walt/Melon Dezign. But instead of Melon, I changed it to Lemon and added a little lemon to the bottom. After various chats and ideas we named ourselves LEMON."

"LEMON." would be the correct answer, or just "Lemon." like Tomcat wrote in the two paragraphs before.
Mystery solved.
The members themselves told to use "Lemon." and pronounce it as "Lemon-point" in their first release.. but then proceeded to break that "rule" themselves on several occasions. Go figure :)

Go with what you like, it's not like they'd get confused with any other Lemons anyway..

And Tomcat didn't really write that, it's from some diskmag (RAW I believe?)

R.A.W. #5, he wrote that as well. I just quoted the book. ;)
Clear as mud. Thanks guys :-)

See 'announce,' as Break said.

If for no other reason than the music kicks pat00kus. But there's some good facet graphics there, including the mouse rapes mouse pic... which is on the screen when they explain that it is Lemon PUNKTUM, which is how you pronounce it in Danish, apparently.

And of course the non-Danes would pronounce it however they wanted as well.

Watch 'announce' anyway (: Heck, I prefer Announce over 'Groovy' (:
That mouse-on-mouse pic was a repaint though (but at least not from Boris for once :)). Anyway, one dot is hardly worth a lengthy discussion. Especially when the scene is using as its reference material a book which states that Budbrain was a subgroup of Flash Prod and that Strider joined Fairlight 6 months after it was founded.. :)

Btw, sorry for the semi-serious scene related talk on the Pouet bbs. We should know better. DUNGEON HORROR MY BASS BEAUTIFUL!

Heh, yeah, well, Flash Productions DID do Budbrain 3 (:

Which I still love, even if it wasn't THAT great. It had bitchin' cubes (:
Okkie, it's actually "Lemonade." (with a dot as well) on that website :-)
