asm05 seminar material

category: general [glöplog]
apparently there was no seminars asmtv stream this year, so people have no chance to watch the seminar till official videos are available.

in the meantime, the slides from my presentation are available at http://www.farbrausch.de/~fg/seminars/lightspeed.html (together with other material). i wonder if other speakers could make their stuff available too?

i got asked multiple times both during the party and on irc, so apparently most missed that oneliner - besides it's not really the right place to announce such things.

where to get the rest of the seminar stuff?
(or do we have to wait for half a year for the video captures to appear as it was the case last year??! ;)

no slides, but here's a list of intros that go shown during my session: http://www.scene.org/misc/best4kintros.php

We had major issues with creating the video files from the video recordings, so this has been delayed.

However, we are on the case and files will appear as soon as we can make it happen. All seminars are on tape, so just hold on for a bit longer.

Please do video files out of the live gigs too while you're at it..?

Slides from my presentation (Gentle Introductino to Physics in Games and Demos) are available in my
home page - direct link to PDF.
I'd also like to point out this correction to the material:
- The slide presenting rigid bodies claims that rigid bodies have a shape. Technically this isn't correct. The shape is realized by collision detection. Forces can be applied to rigid body at arbitrary points without relation to real shape.

Matti does the Crest. ;)
Next time send even more fuckings to farbrausch and conspiracy, please.

domfries: Yeah, just like with ep and maestro. ;)
Actually a seminar about the afghanian demosecene would be very cool.
'domfries'? Didn't MadenMann notice the funny joke in his name?

Ask kb, he'll tell ya I've noticed it. But it's "nice" to have a question about that handle, not about maestro. ;)

Btw visa, contact me in decembre if you're planing to come to breakpoint. This should give us enough time.
Rawhed - Thought you were from South Africa... You had VISA problems???

It's at times like these that you start to realise how molly coddled we are in Europe...
