I've only been to Mekka and breakpoint, but here is my opinion based on that:

Best food sold at party place: Breakpoints "Steak Rolls". Delicious.

Worst food sold at party place: Breakpoints "Currywurst". Oh man.

Best food bought at the shop down the road from the party: ALDI's "Frickedellenenenn" (however its spelt), or "ALDI Burger" as its known within IRIS. It doesn't actually taste all that nice, BUT, when you open a packet it lets out a stench so foul you can clear a whole row. It also gives you the powerful "ALDI Burger Breath", which can melt human beings from 3 meters away!

Best: Anything at the notorious KGB grill. At least there's always a LOT of it :)

2nd best: Breakpoint currywurst in a hangover

Worst: Breakpoint currywurst while not hung over

I've only had currywurst once, but let me get this straight: currywurst is a bad tasting, low quality sausage in bad tasting, low quality curry sauce right?

actually it's supposed to be good tasting, consisting of high quality sausage along with high quality curry sauce.

best currywurst is homemade currywurst.

i ate 3 currywurst on one day and i still didn't feel sick :-/

I just didn't like the other food that was offered there and the currywurst wasn't bad at all (for a currywurst).

best food: anything not sold _at_ the partyplace.

Actually, if there are a lot of UK sceners at the next BP, they should sell "Swan burgers", because in the UK, only the queen is allowed to eat swan meat. I don't know if swan meat is any good, but it would be kind of cool.

Actually, if I was the king, I'd go up to homeless people and offer then a swanburger. Once they take a bite, you call the police and get them arrested for swan eating! HAH!

I don't know if Swans are allowed to bite the queen.

free meat at se sure tasted good. but then again we were all fucking drunk and starving to death.

worst defnitly currywurst. i could explain why but it would get quite disgusting :)

worst: infodesk-sandwiches at ms

Actually, I liked some of the MS infodesk sandwiches.

best: beer
worst: anything german and involving meat and greasy sauce

The tUM Pizza wave is still be best thing I've ever seen on parties.

best: beer and onion flavoured chips
worst: beer and nothing else

Worst: Hesburger. Followed by everything else sold at demoparties..

Hesburger: definitely the most unrewarding piece of junkfood I put in my mouth. I felt like asking for my time and money back.

Best food: The sirloin steaks from SE04. Good marinade and thanks to Crowley they were *just* right.

best: random years scene event steaks. :)

worst: the "sandwiches" at the ms'01 infodesk. i don't think i went to hesburger at asm.

currywurst may be expired hot dogs doused in sauce to hide the flavor/stench, but they're pretty good hangover food.

pretty much any memorable party food is to be had at a restaurant outside the party.

i have to agree with some of above - currywurst is the best and the worst scene food at once :)

bbq food at solskogen was a clear winner.
I personally think that currywurst and hesburger is ok.
worst food I remember must be pizzas at some TG.
The chinafood at tum04 was not very good but the company was great, so it didn't matter.

under worst, i think i have to add the burgers at tg98 with corn in them. wtf?
