surely there are members who will join like me who have other skills eg .mod tracking/3D moddeling etc and want to start out coding or join a group with a coder etc? they will have questions eg what language is best?

i also agree that new logos aren't getting shown: poor job of sampling. maybe

-anything that isn't shit should get shown with equal probability
or
-more positive votes should cause logos to show up more, but weight should be log or log log or log log log of # of votes
