A coder is a magic pixie who sprinkles fairy dust on videos created by graphic artists, which makes them realtime. The resulting magical .exe file will bestow a feeling of peace and cheerfulness onto everybody who runs it, causing them to give it lots of votes on pouet.
It's possible to make demos without a coder, using tools such as demopaja and werkkzeug, but the all-important fairy dust will be missing, which is why those prods always get thumbed down (unless they were done by Moppi or Farbrausch respectively, who have their own stock of magical coder pixies).

i got quite alot of thumbs upfor myland ! but havent got over 0.5%
and i want a fast tracker that imports avi loop samples/effects etc and exports as an exe
also import of dxf? models? /scenes i know someone is hiding it from me?! but i guess its ok the more difficult way to remain exclusive and exquizit?
i'm really glad i saved the scene for all my anims

werkkseug is ok but i preffer tracker like ft2.exe
or mplug .....real tracker i found to be the most user friendly but theres a painfull rights application required for commercial use which is not in modplug <..>
