ST-NICCC Competition

yx, well, we didn't repack it. We completely re-created the scene in 3D. Packing 640kb in 12kb is totally impossible with this kind of data :)
Megus: one could argue that synthesizing new data that produces the same visuals is a form of repacking, but i'll concede the point.
nice... btw... anybody interested in Leonard's first version of the poly streamer data set? I used that in another SNES intro...
A reconstructed SVG flythrough based on the 3D data from PICONICCC by Megus, Demarche & Stardust.
My earlier STNICCC2000 SVG replays the original Atari STe precalculated animation frames stored in scene1.bin (640 KB). This version instead renders the flythrough from the reconstructed 3D models and camera paths packed into scene.bin (31 KB), producing a much smaller and smoother animation.

Nice!!! Can you explain the process?
Now you got me thinking if a 4k/32kb PC port could be done. :O
So who'll be first to make a no-cpu version? ;)
Blueberry: well Saviour has 3D routines for no-cpu so lets see :D
