Hi guys and Pouet admins,
First of all, thanks for the work you guys do to keep the site alive. It's really appreciated, all the work you do and did over the years, and I'm sure you're acting in good faith while keeping the site up and running and keeping rules in place, following principles like those in the FAQ or the Demoscene Ethics guidelines.
I'm not taking any sides. Demoscene is very important to me, and I'd like to see more empathy from everyone. There shouldn't be any division between fellow sceners, I understand the sentiments from all sides, as we live in crazy times, produced in part by some "bright minds" who, rather than solving problems for everyone, seem to create more chaos and split people apart instead (but that's another topic).
Anyway, I'd like to help somehow to improve things overall and make the demoscene a healthier community. In this other thread, I proposed a small feature that I thought could help. People didn't really like it so I just deleted the proposed code, I respect that, that's good feedback but the underlying problem still seems unsolved. I don't have admin experience, but some people pointed out there is clearly an issue that I also feel is true after reading carefully the Bulletin thread.
From the point of view of the site admins: what would help improve things overall, so it's not a burden on you, and so things get healthier for everyone? So the demoscene can hopefully be a more open place, with a clear set of rules, that doesn't scare off newcomers from contributing and participating, and can be a more collaborative place without, of course, losing its essence.
I'm asking honestly here, I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd like to see this place get healthier, so everyone can have fun with the thing we all love. Anyway, if there's anything from a code point of view that would make things easier for admins, please let me know as I'd be willing to help out.

One thing that would really help is if ppl would use this thread t post fixes only and definitely not any opinions

I empathize because I moderate the forum, subreddit, discord and the x account for three.js. And I know well that it's quite a bit of work to foster a positive culture. I used to work with the individuals but at the current size I have no other option that blocking toxic people right away.
A advantage you guys have in the case of pouet is that you can (vibe)code whatever feature you need. In my case I'm limited to the moderation tools these platforms offer.

There is a problem with this prod: I want to replace the screenshot since it shows the effect incorrectly (probably due to an inaccurate emulator) but I didn't see any way to do this other than mention it here. Here is a screenshot showing the effect correctly:
