Beta 3 is available.
Please go to the settings/account screen (if you’ve already created an account) to trigger the resync after beta 3 DB reset.
Lots of new stuff & fixes on the playback engines, the visualizers, navigation, playlist management, ...
I see we can now drag/drop files onto the player and double click files from the file manager (macOS). Thanks a bunch!
For SNDH, it will only recognize the ".snd" extension, not ".sndh" for doubleclick, drag/drop works for .sndh as well. Would be nice if .sndh was recognized :)
Thanks for linking all the libraries you used.
I been working on a libretro-based audio player like rePlayer, but also for anything libretro supports (still needs a software renderer based UI, currently its GL/GLES), so all these libs would help.

Yoyo: thx for the looping tip, yes that works for me <3
ok great. for beta 4 I will change the behaviour of the repeat current file mode (when the repeat button is activated with the small 1 badge on it).
If the file/playback support real loop with loop start/loop end points, it will be interpreted as force infinite loop.
If it doesn't support it, it will be as today, restarting from beginning.

this is amazing software! I've used modizer before when I was still using an iPhone, but now that I'm using an android device this app feels somewhat right at home :)
I do have some suggestions though, can you add a way to import a folder into the app, since I have a bunch of music files in a specific folder and I want to listen to them right away.
Also, while I do know that the UI is trying to be like apple music (with the queues and things like that), is there are way to make the app play one song with no queues, and if you try to play a different song it stops the previous one and plays the newly selected one right away.
Anyway I'm really happy that there's finally a cross platform modizer-ish chiptune player, since when I switched over to android one of the only things I missed using in iOS was modizer :D

thanks for the feedback.
what I can add quickly is a way to have the local browser allowing multiple files selection. You can open your folder, then "select all" and it will initiate a new queue with all your file.
You can also initiate a new playlist from the queue if you want to relaunch them later quickly.
I don't plan to have a real "import" feature for now as it would require significant changes in the current logic to have imported file well integrated with the server ones.
in next beta, when you select a song, a popup will open allowing you to choose what you want to do
