Hype is building! Better get started on those entries, I guess?!
As we've alluded to recently, there are some changes in the entrance area that prompted an adjustment of our lounge and thus our DJ sets that take place there. It's summer, after all, so we've opted to simply take it outside! Our new lounge tent will run across the side of the hall, where the food truck used to be - so more room for activities and some nice shade if need be.

That is some nice changes indeed!
We always try to make an effort to make our prizes something special - from the metal art of the very first edition to the zombie hands and everything in between. This year, we've enlisted the woodworking skills of a friend of the party, Øyvind, to create these spectacular one-of-a-kind beauties!

Unfortunately, we've received the news that there's going to be absolutely terrible nerd weather this weekend. Sun, sun and more sun. We urge all our visitors to bring a water bottle and stay hydrated at all times. And stay inside, in the shade and work on your entries, like proper nerds. But seriously, water. Bring your bottle.
Perhaps needlessly obvious suggestions:
1. Bring sunblock 1,000,000 ( and remember to use it gratuitously ). Sunburn is no fun when you're trying to sleep in a hot tent.
2. If you start to feel cooked and a headache coming on, that's the beginning of sunstroke. Lived and learned in the mountains this week.

Anything new about uploading remote entries?
The server will probably be up on Thursday. We will post on all channels when Remote uploads can begin!
We're very aware of the World Cup match happening on Saturday. We're making space in our schedule for the match, and we're figuring out somehow everyone who is interested can see the match.
It's time - we're packing up our gear, ready to start the build-up tomorrow, and welcome you all the day after! We can't WAIT! :)
