There is a problem with this prod: "pouet does not collect music"...
Quote:
it's a piece of music released in a music compo
If I add some static graphics to executable, like in musicdisk do, will this prod stop being "just a piece of music"? Or it is compo type on releasing party that defines an executable as "just piece of music"?
thank you for taking your strawman arguments elsewhere
Can I get an answer to my question? It isn't a complaint, I just want to understand how should I do to get my future prods published on Pouet?
Why was this my prod published, while the one mentioned above was removed for being a piece of music? Though they're both in essence demos of beeper music using the same engine.
What is the difference?
Is the difference in the presence/absence of a simplest visual component (actually just a text)? Or type of compo matters?

Sorry, I didn't know that. I'v been told I can ask here.
Is there a place on this site where I can ask?
Can this user account get deleted, please? Thank you!
Haven't found a way to do so in the profile.

There is a problem with this prod: there's a typo in the title (my fault) it's "Knight Chips" and not "Knigh Chips". Thanks for fixing.
@ok3anos: edit ---> change prod info. but it is fixed now :)
@bifat: i can't (and i do not know if it would cause issues in the db). but simply rename your handle and delete your infos at your account and done. others did it this way as well. or you just let it be because this way prod credits would not be "anonymous". and if you decide to ressurect the account it would be here.

Sensenstahl: That's not sufficient to be in accordance with the GDPR, as I understand it. The DB solution would be probably to collate deleted users (and all references to them) to one special "deleted user" account, besides zeroing out the original record. As a workaround (only in my case), permanently banning me would be fine.
Please add a "no-cpu demo" compo category.
bifat: sensenstahl is right, you can delete all personally identifiable data we hold about you yourself. also, don't forget to delete cookies. bye bye!
https://www.pouet.net/topic.php?which=12955 should be in residue
it's fine that you have an opinion but not that you post it in this thread

No, Sensenstahl and you are wrong. Individual forum posts remain uniquely identifiable by references to outside works - these references could have been and can be added in the future, outside the control of the affected users. I would consider this to be in contradiction to the intent of the GDPR, which makes this site susceptible to injunctions. I proposed an easy solution which would fix this.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I tried adding a link to Codeberg for my prod as I'm moving away from GitHub and the edit was rejected with this link as the reason: https://www.pouet.net/faq.php#faq45
This list of source code hosting websites doesn't make much sense. Google Code has been dead for ages, and expecting everyone to have the code on GitHub doesn't sound great.
