Tried xmms2, installed with the sc68 plugin.

Still, no luck.
Try Audio Overload or an ST emulator with STj installed. Yeah, would be pretty nifty to play them with moc though.

Thanks utz, Audio Overload did it!
I know it's a very old question, but it looks like Audio Overload is no longer working very well on Linux now. I've found "psgplay" is working fine for sndh files, it can be found on github (search for frno7/psgplay)

Also has an AUR package, a Gentoo port and a brew formula for the mac users...

And best of all its very actively developed. Strongly recommended.

I just use sc68 directly on the command line, works well.
Try
`cargo install oldplay`

you can try to build https://github.com/arnaud-carre/sndh-player on linux. It directly plays large SNDH zip archive from https://sndh.atari.org/

or even easier: just use our great SNDH online web player by OXbab! https://sndh.oxygenedemos.com/

Ok Leonard, that's also super nice!

But if we're counting web players, simply go to https://sndh.atari.org/ - press play on any tune and PSGPlay is at your service thanks to tIn's Emscripten build :)

Is there a nice command line player akin to sidplay for these?
