The demoscene returns to Barcelona with DEMO OR DIE! An event to discover, enjoy and remember this scene so relevant in computer culture that transcends to digital art.

In addition, we celebrate the 25th anniversary of the first bcnparty, the demoparty of reference at the beginning of the century and it will be a reunion of demosceners from all around.

During the afternoon-evening of Saturday 25th October, we will have a documentary screening, a show of demos and modern intros (2024-2025) and a live AV show.

It will be a great opportunity to learn about the history and discover the present of the demoscene, and to meet again with all those sceners who spent those intense days at the bcnparty 20-25 years ago.

In addition, there will also be surprises for the attendees and booze!

DEMO OR DIE! will be held at the niu contemporary art space, a magnificent place for this type of content, which has already seen demoscene on its stage for years. Admission is free.

All sceners, companions and those interested in demoscene, creative programming and live coding are more than welcome. But don't bring computers, it's not a party!

Eager to see some familiar faces again!

I remember my visit to BCN in 2006. What a great expérience. I wish I could make it again. Hope to seen a new stravaganza prod for that occasion ( does not hurt to ask).

I wish I could visit someday... even BCN.
