I just got home and I am still so outraged about what I saw at this party that I have trouble remembering my pronouns. Allow me to vent my grievances. This progressive and woke community will certainly understand the trauma I suffered in Tuchola during the weekend!
First of all, the party was held in a beautiful, lush green forest. This is outrageous. Just imagine the lives of beetles and locusts they disrupted! Some cars were parked on grass, as they clearly didn't mind damaging the ecosystem. As I approached the main building, I noticed dozens of people just enjoying the sunlight, not even understanding it was the direct result of climate change, and a huge chunk of polar ice may just have broken off from Antarctica due to this "beautiful sunshine". Oh, these ignorant people!
As I got closer, I noticed how most of them were talking loudly in Polish! I found this very discriminative, and politely asked them to stop it because it may startle foreigners. They just told me to shut up or I will end up like the last people who tried to stop them speaking Polish, despite they came with an army. What blatant xenophobia!
To my horror, they later started fires without care for their carbon footprints, and began consuming copious amounts of some food they called "kielbasa". It was actually just meat, but they apparently tried to hide this fact from progressive visitors like me. I am not that stupid, hah! But then, I faced something I never thought I would ever see in my life. There was a kitchen (yes, a real kitchen!) and there were at least a dozen womyn locked up in it, forced to constantly make food for all the men who were just drinking outside! These poor females were so thoroughly brainwashed by patriarchy that they even smiled and laughed while doing so! Internalized mysogyny at work.
And the cherry on top? They were all dressed as Native Americans. Cultural appropriation! Stereotypes! Racism!! And they even used the outdated I-word to themselves. That's where I had to administer myself a large shot of soy latte intravenously.
Other than that, the event wasn't very interesting. There were some old computers, clearly not up to the latest green standards. These people gathered to stare at these computers every few hours, sometimes shouted "girlfriend" in Spanish, and frequently discussed an ancient Hungarian dog breed, the "komondor". At some point they stopped screaming at computers, and screamed at Steffan, the main organizer instead, for having turned 50 just now. This is apparently an insult to their community. They soon found that he wasn't the only one, so they screamed at those guys too, until they ran out of birthdays, and went back to screaming at their computers. In the end, they gave prizes to those who screamed the loudest, and they also screamed a little at the women from the kitchen a little. Poor things. Then everybody clapped.
