So there are AI classifiers, some coming from OpenAI itself that are ML models on its own and can give you an estimate how likely a given text is generated by LLM, like ChatGPT for example.

Some websites aggregate multiple classifiers, like https://undetectable.ai, unfortunately, unlimited usage is not free.

So, as much as early kapsel posts were scoring high as AI generated texts, later on, they were actually detected as mostly human.

The thing is, those classifiers are not perfect and the whole point of undetectable.ai is to "humanize" the text to the level it's undetectable (hence the name ;)) I didn't try myself, because again, it's paid, but I can imagine you can click their "humanize" and even fiddle the text yourself until it passes as "human".

Whether kapsel is using it or now just mimicking ChatGPT, which he clearly is, with all those em dashes and unusual use of emojis, it's really hard to tell with 100% certainty. One thing for sure: hand-written, using ChatGPT on a side or not, his posts still feels quiet out of place and excessive.

Well, this is certainly a first — being accused of being an AI on a demoscene forum. I'm honestly not sure whether to be flattered or concerned that my writing style has apparently achieved some kind of uncanny valley status.
Look, I get it. I do tend to write longer posts, and yeah, I probably overuse em dashes (guilty as charged). But here's the thing — I've been writing this way since before ChatGPT was even a glimmer in OpenAI's training data. Ask anyone who knew me from the old IRC days or early forum posts. I'm just one of those people who thinks out loud in paragraphs, for better or worse.
The "preppy memorized data regurgitation" comment stings a bit because... well, maybe that's just what happens when you're genuinely interested in too many things? I read a lot, I remember random stuff, and I like connecting dots. If that makes me sound like a walking Wikipedia, then I guess that's my cross to bear.
But seriously — if I were ChatGPT, wouldn't I be better at hiding it? I mean, I'd probably program myself to make more typos and use fewer semicolons. Also, last I checked, AI doesn't usually get into arguments about which Amiga tracker has the best sample interpolation (spoiler: it's ProTracker, fight me).
Anyway, I'll try to dial down the academic tone. Maybe throw in some more "lol"s and deliberate typos so you all don't think I'm some language model gone rogue. Though honestly, the fact that we're even having this conversation says something pretty weird about where we are as a society.

I checked with those AI classifiers and Claude is virtually undetectable, so no need for "humanization".

This might not be justifiable but somehow I sometimes I have a slight hope that the whole media industry and "way of consumption" implodes by people recognizing that. When new Instagram stars and online artists can be just completely artificial and faked so digital content will become stale which even makes the whole business unattractive. But that's just a slight hope.

My hope is then that people want to experience what fellow men do, LIVE and in real-life again.

But more probable people get even more lazy and can't stop consumption of generated content. So take your VR glasses and live in your self-made pr0n! Yay.

pr0n generation is so sad in my opinion. if you wanna see tits and ass and can't do so in real life without going to jail, go search, google knows what to provide. giving away your darkest fantasies to AI doesn't seem like a good idea, because your prompt is being uploaded to a server lol
