A detuned Atari VCS scene track in the middle of a skweee compilation...
category: music [glöplog]
Some days ago, polish label Istotne Nagr. released a skweee compilation available on K7 & online called "Après skweee".
At the beginning of the side B of the tape, there's an Atari VCS track and this track have been released at Silly Venture 2023 SE for the VCS music compo (fun fact is that it ended last in the ranking (4 on 4) but was fair enough in ear bleeding to finish on tape héhéhé...).
Is there other examples of scene tracks that ended in released album/compilation ? I mean, not specific chiptune/retromusic release, but something that emerged on the scene and have been included "out of the scene" in another thing (album/compilation/movie ost/...) ?

@v3nom: Mmmm, in that case the track wasn't stolen/ripped at all, it has been done with my total agreement (I delivered this track for the compilation when the project was launched).
I was more wondering about materials who've done this particular road but in legit/legal/agreement way... A bit something like "when the scene world finally meet the "common world" ".

ah I see - in this case, congrats on the release :)
