Casual Wavelet

Yes.. Tried to think of something to say, oldskool style.

So what do you think about Wavelets?

Do you think it is correct to call simple algorithms on c64 wavelets.
It seems they really can scale from such a thing to 4K.

A generalization of compression possibly?

My rule of thumb is that you can call simple algorithms on c64 wavelets if they implement wavelets.

Simplications are wrong?

For instance pulses spread around 5k, modulated by offset is not wavelet.

L shift i is ofcourse not wavelet on c64 aswell.

But Run could be?

A little joke there. Atleast Wavelet preserves phase.

Come to think of it, I do not like loss of phase, and overs associated with it.

Maybe some Lowpass Reconstruction Bitstrem(s) is better.

Casuality Off.
Peace.

Overs = Bad.

So from what I can remember, these types of discussions ended at Wavelets last I can remember.

I can read up on it myself ofcourse.

- Updated to a wavelet for icon, I think is best. Worked out by myself, and not taken from musicdsp.org source archive or RBJ EQ Cookbook.
