an ambient movie. saw this a few months ago on a lazy sunny afternoon and it was perfect.
"the only way out is together"
really, this is hard tobacco but the best war movie I've seen so far.
the only question that remains is, as she put it so eloquently: why ?
"Four interconnected stories set in 1987 Oakland, CA. will tell about the love of music, movies, people, places and memories beyond our knowable universe."
absolutely loved this one
"a woman wakes up on a distant planet and finds the crew of her space station viciously killed"
a stylish, psychedelic, Alien-ish movie with a great sound track / sound design (by The Flying Lotus, who also was involved in the movie production itself).
not for the faint of heart, it's graphical (with some jump-scare moments).
IMDB hates it, the Tomatometer says 71% (which I agree with).
Reminded me of "From Dusk Til Dawn" and "From" in a way. But this is quite different and what I would consider a fresh take on the horror genre. There's a strong focus on music (which unites us), and social / racial inequalities (which divide us). Definitely worth a watch.
