Yeah, many of the Musk's publicly stated goals are often "noble" and seemed to be something that would benefit humanity as a whole (atleast back in 2015..), but he surely seems to be a total jackass as a person. (referring to that child custody story for example) - But like I said in the first post, I wonder what his true goals are. Is he just so much on the spectrum that he doesn't realize how he behaves, or is he lying to his teeth and really is a fascist.

And this is no bait, but I agree this is somewhat offtopic conversation for a demoscene site - but then again it's marked properly as offtopic. (we have this category on pouet bbs..)
I just wanted to hear the demoscene ppl's opinion about this, and this why I opened the topic here.

Whenever people hate someone on the other side of the political spectrum, they will accuse them of anything. And the usage of fascism, sexism, racism, transphobia and what else, are so overused that they start losing their meaning.

Anyone who is in power will be accused of authoritarianism from the other side. People talk about some billionaire taking power like it's a horrific things like this wasn't the story of the entire political system, where corporations were siding with either side. Silicon Valley social media companies were siding with the democrats and even censoring information and Musk for whatever reasons had enough with this. A lot of conservatives who thought they were censored, liked this. And for example point 4 "Suppression of Dissent" is exactly what happened from the anti-Musk side before. So it's kinda laughable when they attached it to him.

Someone brings an article about his personal divorce situation. It's funny because the trauma of someone not being able to see their children because of custody laws, is usually brought from men's rights activists. But the themselves who support feminism and overlook what it has done to the family laws all over the world, they will now use this to say how horrible of a father this Musk guy is. Of course in the case of Musk, he has the money so he is safe to continue fighting for custody, but in case of regular men it might not be the same. Personally I think these custody laws are bs and it should mostly be shared parenting. Why are we pitting men against women with these laws?

Oh and yes, his daughter hates him. You might find this transphobic, but that store spoke to me. I wasn't sure about Musk but he was with Jordan Peterson and Jordan asked him why did you bought twitter. And he said "They took my son. The woke mind virus took my son. Then I decided to buy twitter". That's more of a real powerful story for me, whether he is good or a villain. It doesn't matter because the meaning of all the isms everyone throws around have lost their values and everyone no matter if right or left are acting unhinged and the power just goes from one side to the other when people have had enough from either sides. We need to examine ourselves.

Hope I am not vague with that, just trying to be careful. I don't personally identify with this. I am a bit of an outsider that for some reason sympathize with their right to speak about things. It's a bit loose what people mean by red-pill these days. There is also a political spin in it somehow associated. Let's say, I am not interested/fan of the dating/pua side of things, just more sympathetic of older and lesser heard mra's which included men and women having more serious discussions on issues more relevant to culture/law, before it became badly caricatured by figures like Tate. I feel sometimes awkward to be associated, as I don't have a personal story relating, but sometimes something deep in your personality makes you attached to certain groups/political positions than others.

There is simple solution to all your problems: block YouTube, Spotify, Twitch, Twitter, etc..on your router and you will immediately forget there are political sides, Elons, Trumps, Tates, Rogans and whatever else there is in your daily feed. Satisfaction guaranteed!

I can't imagine that you couldn't predict that this topic would immediately turn into the exact same flamewar that this topic is on every other platform. So I'm calling people fascists who are supporting fascists movements.

Elon Musk is supporting Trump.

Trump is leading a fascist movement in my opinion and the opinion of a growing number of historians.

The way that I see it, Elon's siphoned all of his success from things that were already done for him. Twitter and Tesla are the biggest examples. He's terrible at actually adding his own twists on them, Twitter is now a complete cesspool, and the Tesla Cybertruck nearly became a guillotine.

He also bites every little piece of propaganda like a fish a fish hook. Seeing an AI-generated post and immediately replying with "Interesting 👀" letting us all know that he's committed that nonsense into his brain.

So really, he's a lucky loser who pretends to be the saviour.
