I am currently looking for someone who is able to draw 1bpp GFX (with 1 grey shade) for an r-type game (i can also rip from r-type I and II for GB classic but that's somehow lame).
We really need some more people who are interested in working with this platform (currently there are only like ~3-5 real coders for PM).

i bidded on a PM today, and i'm quite willing to participate in a demo. (which includes drawing crude gfx and doing 1 channel chiptunes :))

ehh? that doesn't make a whole lotta sense tbh ;) but i guess you mean the same "interlaced-gives-grey-pixel-trick" as used on several other lcd-display devices?
well if okkie does the musc, i promise to supply a fitting 1bpp handpixelled david hasselhoff image :-) now all we need is a coder and we have a demo!

Exin/gloom/Okkie there is no real "chiptune" for PM because the PM doesn't have real sound hardware (sound output is done by a timer). I was using a converter that converts a midi with 1 channel to my own format (basically it is preset/pivot values that go to the timer registers of the timer that generates the sound). The only additional register for sound is a volume control register (0%, 50% or 100% volume)
