A quite interesting platform IMHO, with it's limitations and screwball creator.

Too much anime for me, but super epic plus thumb up for writing something for TempleOS :)
Hallelujah!
Wow, 27 FPS!
In case someone is interested: the sourcecode is on GitHub
Holy shit!
LOL it had to be done by someone eventually =)
Are you sure you want to encourage crazy people in their delusions?
Nothing makes me want to code for an OS more than racist conspiracy theories on the landing page its official web site. Hope the guy gets some help.
racism, where? i assume you mean this page: http://www.templeos.org/TempleOS.html
Scroll through this archived version from just a few days ago, you'll see it: https://web.archive.org/web/20170606063109/http://www.templeos.org/
The guy changes the front page pretty much daily now, it seems like. There also used to be a "daily blog" which I think might have been removed, but here's a completely random example: https://web.archive.org/web/20160316005504/http://www.templeos.org/Wb/Home/Web/TAD/DailyBlog.html#l1

Well, he is schizophrenic, and there were multiple occurrences when he acted quite bizarre.
As if the OS isn't outlandish on it's own...
The project is truly amazing regardless of his sickness. They just made a discord client for it: https://github.com/tramplersheikhs/crocodile

Doesn't that break the whole "no networking" thing?
Indeed. But rules are made to be broken.
This is an interesting writeup on TempleOS: http://www.codersnotes.com/notes/a-constructive-look-at-templeos/. It's weird and the author is schizophrenic, but it does have some interesting features.
@Preacher: that was a nice read. thanks!
Where can I see this templeos demo? The youtube and Github links are both 404, and I have no name for the production to go on!
After "[struggling] with periods of homelessness and incarceration," the TempleOS author Terry A Davis "was struck by a train and died at the age of 48". See the wikipedia entry on this incredibly talented programmer.
He amassed quite a following on Hacker News, but then got banned and had his content redacted due to outbursts almost certainly triggered by his faltering mental health.
Terry deleted all of the TempleOS videos from youtube, but not before some helpfiul folks archived everything:
