This was my first TRSAC and I sure hope it won't be my last. ;))
Loved everything from being thrown into the quiz literally the moment we arrived, to the 5k run, to the acid compo (thanks again ferris <3) and the food. The light situation was unfortunate but not unsolvable. I'd just hope that next year (!) a bigger room could be used for the sleeping area.
BTW, we passed by a building saying "Dansk Revision" on our way... is there also a "Tysk TRSAC"?

can't recall showing a demo twice in a compo; and the reason not being that it crashed, but on popular demand. you've gone out with a bang, and came back with a bang :)

Yeah, we're sorry about that - the "gym" in the back used to be our sleeping area, but during covid, changes were made to keep the place profitable since they completely lost their income. Should someone at some point decide to make another demoparty at the same location, they should ask us about known issues with the partyplace ;)

I never knew it were a thing until Olagupoopa asked who made it, during the Solskogen ShowerBeer Festival.
That’s a shitton of effort for a very internal joke with a very limited audience.
I love it!
That whole 2000 era was filled with fun and internal jokes inside the TBC camp.
20-something years have passed and we are still doing the same kind of jokes, only with a different larger group of people. Don't ever change.
If I had known this would be watched more than 2-3 times during the spring of 2002, a final version might have been planned a little harder...
Back story:
Who the fuck knows anymore. I guess we decided to make something a bit different than the usual "I can’t code for shit, so lets do realtime effects in Lightwave instead" demo.
The sheep were inspired by the loonies blowup fu..mascot.
The idea of the music, I don’t have a clue. Most likely Orange had some crazy idea that involved into the whole animation. The first, and only, version of the music were not what I expected, but it worked out great. I think.
dwarf: I completely forgot about the “edit on a blanket stunt” We need to take more pictures.
Big shoutout to Orange for the soundtrack. Wherever you are..I hope you are well.

My directions most have been lost in translation :)

My first year of going to demoparties someone said I should go to TRASAC.
I wasn’t sure I was still very shy and anxious. Walking into the cafeteria and hall was scary as f*ck. Polynomial and Hoffman called me over and I sat on there table. I hardly left that table that year but had a blast. Hoff couldn’t make it the next year he posted a picture of a pineapple so I bought a pineapple and put it on stage. Since then TRSAC is the one party I crave it changed my life. My anxiety slips away, I’m able to enjoy the shower beer and dance to the acid set.
This year was amazing I will always bring a pineapple I love you lot <3.
