Attention demoscene artists and fellow members of the elite!
We are excited to announce that we will be hosting the "Ski or Death" event at the Kehlsteinhaus cabin at the beautiful Himos ski resort. This will be a chance for us to connect with one another and enjoy the stable products of Pirkka, all while enjoying the stunning surroundings of the ski resort.
Please note that this event carries with it a real possibility of both skiing and death, so attendees must be prepared to ski or snowboard at their own risk. In addition to hitting the slopes, we will also be indulging in some special, mind-expanding activities and enjoying some music and other festive activities.
And to ensure that we have the best possible experience on the slopes, we will also be joined by our skilled and experienced ski instructor, Seppo, who recently underwent a glorious aspect ratio correction.
"I can't wait to hit the slopes with all of you and make some unforgettable memories," says Seppo. "This is going to be a truly special event, and I hope to see you all there as we indulge in some truly unique and enriching activities."

We understand that both characters share a common theme of skiing and use the EGA palette, but the limitations of the palette have resulted in similar color choices for both characters.
To put this in perspective, we can compare the EGA palette to a musical scale which has only 12 notes. Like how a musician must work within the limitations of the scale to create a unique composition, game designers must work within the limitations of the EGA palette to create visually appealing graphics.
Therefore, any claims that suggest intentional copying or infringement of intellectual property are frivolous and baseless. We respect the creative rights of all parties involved and take any allegations of such nature seriously.
