hey Hardy, this was kind of unexpected from someone who coded / contributed some seriously kick-ass prods during the past 10+ years.
sounds like you are in for a detox ! alcohol (+other drugs) deal a lot of damage to your mind+body and you may (apparently) not even realize this.
Even though we don't know each other in person, I am saying this as a friend, so consider this friendly advice.
Parties aside, the scene is actually a pretty solitary undertaking, so your primary focus should be on _your_ well being.

Yeah i don't think anything prevents Hardy from making prods, for compos too, remote or live (guess he is not banned from every party). Also sure he still has contacts for providing other assets (gfx, music) for productions...

wise words. I've been dealing with addiction (alcohol+weed+nicotine+resulting depressions) for a long time and this is _the truth_. even if it hurts.

took me a while to figure this out: you don't know how much alcohol makes you drunk, you don't know how much alcohol makes you pass out, you're cannot control this, alcohol is stronger than you are, if you think otherwise you are a fool

Hardy talked again drunk bs without finnishing his stuff, even not IRL just online and now people decided to hand out a lifetime ban at all IRL events. Next, they explain you how to handle addiction(s). Oh and because its 2022 with gender mainstreaming it's of course forbidden to treat a woman equal to a men with same humour or jokes. No that's not ok here we go into special queen mode, ofc. It's a hidden game mode not mentioned in any manual. Ok enough, next you tell people to go vegan before they allowed to attend at any party. Nice! That is of course tolerance and acceptance. Enough for me at this point, i hope it will stop, asap! That's it.

As we had a similar chase in our group, even less worse but more ( vocal ) offending. The guy was named Gandalf. A scene legend, one my of my mentors beside Delaware, Frankie and Timelord etc. and he became more and more addicted to Alcohol in TRISTAR. FINAL Reason was, that i throw him out of the Group ! Period !
He got than a 2nd Chance by us, showed even up at Evoke.....left totally drunken, harmed people and got his lifetime BAN from TRISTAR ! Period.
Hardy, I gave you few days ago the strong advice NOT to post anymore here on Pouet regarding that what happened except if you would consider to say sorry. Yes you are banned from Evoke, thats a fact, no idea if this will be forever or for a limited time. From your point of view i can understand that you are sad, angry as well as i know your story too. Your life was not easy, i know that. Things happened which were not not so fine. ( Many of us have a burden to carry ! )
Maybe there is something the scene or better spoken the people affected by your behavior wants to see that you learn and accept that something isn´t ok. So let me check what would help you and that must be said : getting help is nothing someone must be ashamed, getting help is a sign of strength and shows that you wan´t change something.

he simple said.."Blabla i have no problems with Alc." Well at the end... he lost his driving licence, his job, his wife, his friends.
Work on that and DONT PLAY THE VICTIM ! You have still people around you, Still parties you are welcome. Don´t continue your posts in this way we are all idiots, assholes etc. Work on yourself man. And another think has been said. People won´t not respect you because you are doing 4k fancy wonderful demos. ( You do ) it´s your behave.

out of curiosity: does anyone happen to know who the friendly bunch of people are who were filming with an ST:VOY-like holo-cam contraption (bulky camera held with both hands), interviewing sceners, collecting atmo shots? and where you can watch whatever documentary or whatever came out of that?
