Google hate me before going to the grounds...
Thank you Superogue for your huge work on this party, and to Mantratronic to invite me on previous ones.
You're welcome!
Thank to everybody who has watched the stream, submitted an entry or participated in the byte battles. Huge thanks to havoc, ps, jeenio , all the commentators and guests that helped out. It has been a joy to organize this!

Cheers to the orgas and participants for a great weekend of fun, I'm almost glad I missed the deadline for the gfx though, the other entries were amazing! I need to up my game for February :)
Such a great event. Although i have been following it from the sidelines i was massivly impressed by all the great ideas and showcases. Thanks to everyone involved making it happen.
I heard good things about superrogues raycaster in 256b (iirc) - is there a link to that?
That was fun, sad I couldn't be around more but commenting te byte battles was a joy as per usual! Shout outs to Superogue and Havoc for running the show and ps and jeenio for also running the show! Wonderful work, nice wholesome experience in the twitch chat as well <3
Also massive shout to all byte battlers, what a crazy ride once more! Let's do many more of these!

Had a good time watching the battles, compos and seminars. Many thanks to the orgos for orgoing.
Things to improve:
- voting page: gfx compo pics are teeny tiny.
- voting page: bytebattle: would be nice to show gifs of final effect
- if something on stream is a rerun, indicate it on screen (took me too long to figure out i was being shown filler)
- superogue is overpowered

agreed. wuhu can be customized to change this but unfortunately webdesign volunteers are few and far between in this scene.

agreed. but putting the entire battles on youtube (or such) probably involves less effort. so i think we'll try that path first.

this puzzles me a bit because unlike previous online events i was involved with this party showed a counter counting down to the next regular/fresh content appearing on stream whenever the content that was being shown was reruns or slides. so was that counter not a clear enough indicator or do you mean something else? :)

I was also confused with the bytebattle reruns - it was not clear that it wasn't 'live' and had happened earlier. The only couter I could see was the bytebattle counter.
Obviously, if I had watched every second of the stream it would be obvious, but I did take occasional breaks during the weekend :)
So, a 'rerun of compo x / battle y' overlay would be much appreciated and useful I think.

in the tic80, if you press f9 when you want the gif to start, and f9 when you want it to end, if outputs an animated gif in the very inconvenient appdata folder.. f8 for just a screenshot. i know you are already doing lots of precisely timed typing for the battles+obs display switching stuff, so that might actually be 4 key presses too many to handle, but fwiw.
Oh wait, also huge thanks to havoc superogue ps jeenio okkie etc for all the hard work of making the party go so smoothly, and massive fuckings to whoever choose the word "doom" ;)
