This thread is full of "fuck", "dickhead", "liar", "molesting". Mostly from people pretending to be trying to make the demoscene "more inclusive and welcoming".
But no, we do not have a problem when it comes to moderation, accepting other worldviews and believes and having a mutual goal of being inclusive?
It still occurs to me that the only reason daxx gets banned, attacked and name-called is that he has something that most of us would call an unreasonable position on vaccination, and that he's a punching bag for many who are fed up with anti-vaxxers, and are projecting all their (potentially rightful) hate onto a single person.
And yes, that everybody is having strong opinions on Corona stuff after two years of suffering is obvious. These emotions need to be channeled, especially as many of us simply do not want to hear about that shit anymore.
I am also a strong believe that vaccinations should be mandatory. It's not my believe that everyone that disagrees with that should be tared, feathered and lynched. And especially not be tried to be kicked out of the scene.
I understand that this is a very unpopular position right now. So enjoy your round of lynching. I'll be back next week when the next witch is about to be burned.
