Due to the current rise of the teenage mutant ninja corona variant and the fact that the queen sneezed three times in a row we have to announce the following adjustments to the Corona Regulations MUSIC Compo:
- Minimum distance to Happy Hardcore: eight 'stampa' and/or 'stur ball' according to Leroy (reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yrctMvIWpG0) and/or Scamp Happy Hardcore face (measured during the competition by RPi lab) ((read: no Happy Hardcore))
- A first incidence of a 'Drosten hörst du mich?'-303 mutation during the 7th bar might positively affect the minimum distance to the Happy Hardcore restriction
In addition the following new rule applies for the Corona Regulations PHOTO Compo:
- Studies have shown that the new mutant will only affect people and situations that are aligned at a vertical aspect ratio. Just to be sure we therefore have to ask you to crop your picture to 16:9.
Well, this has turned out to be one of the most challenging buildup phases of Undergrond Conference ever. While work went smoothly on Thursday and Friday, today we had our crane (which we need to build our custom-designed and built airflow non-tent-tent) break down with a loud bang (nobody was hurt), then an approaching thunderstorm with our half-finished and therefore not wind-proof construction (that was more scary)... followed by a couple of other desasters.
But hey, in the end, the good news is that we are building this to run for more than a week. So it's not "4 days of buildup, 3 days of party, 2 days of tear-down" like it's used to be, the TERROR HORROR OF DOOM will be offset by seing many of our beloved friends in a relaxed mood.
Unless our replacement crane explodes tomorrow, then we'll drown ourselves in the pond, getting eaten by the gigantic fish living in there.

We aren't doing a permanent stream as we do not wish to harm the intimate nature of the event - there are stuff we all like doing here and which are fine in our party context, but that people "somewhere on the Internet" might not be able to understand.
However, we do have a streaming setup and a streaming server. We are planning to live-stream to the "mainstream demoscene public" a couple of the competitions and concerts.

The last few days at Underground Conference had been extreme. Thunderstorms, a broken crane, a huge tree crashing upon us, two trashed trailers - basically a survival camp with us constantly fighting to not get killed.
But finally the sun has came out. We have a significant delay in our timetable, but whatever. Even with us being a 100% reallife-party, we have decided that we are going to stream some of our events and competitions. The stuff that external people who don't like the weird UC humor might find offensive won't be streamed, as everything touching the privacy of our visitors.

Partner just told me to "please turn off this awful muppet-like Gedudel, what is that anyway?!" and i refused to turn it off with the reason that it's Jakob Bienenhalm live and he's making balloon animals as well.

We are not going to stream the full event because some parts of it may be found offensive by people who spend their lives raging and ranting on the Internet :)
