The Ultimate Demoscene Triathlon Relay:

Every team consists of three participants: a graphician, a musician and a coder

1. graphician: Draw a picture or a logo (with a given theme)
2. musician: Compose a tune (with given samples or synth)
3. coder: Make an intro using the picture & the tune

Jury gives points to each step, points are also given based on overall completion time.

No-CPU demo compo.

Memory contents are initialized from a data file supplied by the contestant. The machine is put into an otherwise well-defined, suitable state. The rest of the execution must not involve the CPU at all.

Could work well for Amiga 1200. You supply a 2MB file for the chip ram contents. Copper start address is set to a defined value. GO!

Sound imitation compo: Recreate the soundtrack of a demo on the bigscreen with your body and some acoustic instruments. Sing, hum, beatbox, clap, stomp, shake those maracas …

- Shader-Model 1 (DX8/GL1.2) demo compo (including XBox classic)
